Abstract
For the English abstract and full text of the article please see the attached PDF-File (English version follows Russian version).ABSTRACT The article shows new, nonclassical dispersion waves and vibrations, and their spectrum is studied for two reasons: firstly, there is an increase in the number of composite materials used in railway transport, which leads to the phenomenon of dispersion, and secondly, the spring of 2017 showed that many kilometers of tracks were flooded with shallow water. The task of detecting a track defect and determining its spatial localization can be solved with the help of measuring the energy of longitudinal, vertical and transverse oscillations. But the phenomenon of dispersion makes it very difficult to detect the occurrence of new track defects from the rolling stock (see World of Transport and Transportation, 2016, Vol. 14, Iss. 3). The method of «unfixed constructive change of variables» is used in the paper. The authors conclude that two necessary conditions for the solvability of a system of differential equations with first-order partial derivatives have one common nontrivial factor; and that through designing new exact solutions of the non-linear KdV equation that differ from the classical ones, it is found that there is a change of variables in which the equation for the function Y(ξ, d) = Y0(U(ξ, d), ξ) is separate from all the others. Keywords: railway track, vibration spectrum, diagnostic system, Korteweg-de Vries equations, method of non-fixed constructive change of variables. Acknowledgements. Abstract
For the English abstract and full text of the article please see the attached PDF-File (English version follows Russian version).ABSTRACT The article substantiates the motives and significance of construction of new tunnels within strategic development of the network of Russian railways. The classification of railway tunnels based on the purposes of their creation and the types of generated effects is proposed. Approaches to assessment of feasibility of tunnels, which allow the «straightening» of the existing rai lway communication, improving its quality characteristics and efficiency, are considered. Based on the logical-analytical method, the spectrum of potential effects arising thanks to the construction of such tunnels at both the sectoral and macro levels is determined. Particular attention is focused on the choice of the calculation horizon and the discount rates. It is concluded that the construction of a railway tunnel can be considered expedient even with a long payback period of capital investments (15-20 years) in the case of a significant net discounted effect for the chosen calculation horizon. Keywords: railway tunnels, theory, construction, reconstruction, classification, feasibility assessment, discounting, remote effects.

АBSTRACT The methodological basis for management decisions and data transfer between local automated road traffic control systems (ATCS) is now constituted by the concept of scenarios, based on the object-relational approach. However, the disadvantage of this approach is the lack of the system’s ability to adapt to changes in input information without completely reworking the structure of the original requirements. One of the options for correcting the situation is integration of existing ATCS within a single information platform. To effectively implement such a task, it is necessary to develop a methodology for multicriteria evaluation of options for integrating local control systems with the help of formal logistical analytical methods that were tested and now are used in the theory of decision making. Keywords: automated traffic control system, decision theory, multi-criteria task, integration, analytical methods, single information platform.

For the English abstract and full text of the article please see the attached PDF-File (English version follows Russian version).ABSTRACT The main difficulties in transportation of goods with international container trains arise at state border crossing points. A detailed analysis of the reasons for their delays at the railway checkpoints revealed the most characteristic «narrow» places. In order to improve the procedures for documenting and informational support of cargo flows, as well as to consolidate business processes involving cargo owners, carriers, forwarders, federal authorities in the sphere of control and supervision, companies providing transportation and logistics services, it was proposed to create a single information environment with the technology of block chain. The authors identify possible financial results of its implementation, as well as reveal new software resources that can be developed on the basis of business logic tools involved in evaluation of the quality of goods movement on the transport route. Keywords: container traffic, international delivery, transport route, railway border crossing point, block chain.

ITC provides delivery of cargo from India, the Persian Gulf zone, Iran to the territory of Azerbaijan, Russia and then to Northern and Western Europe. In particular, rail transportation along this route will shorten the transportation time from 45-60 to 20-25 days compared to the way from the Baltic through the Mediterranean, the Suez Canal and the Persian Gulf. Such a change in logistics reduces transportation costs by 10-15 %. The prospective volume of container traffic is estimated at 3,5 million containers in a twenty-foot equivalent. Keywords: multimodal transportation, corridor «North-South», transport infrastructure, transport and logistics system, Caspian logistics cluster.

For the English abstract and full text of the article please see the attached PDF-File (English version follows Russian version).Final part. See the frist part in: World of Transport and Transportation, 2018, Vol. 16, Iss. 2. ABSTRACT In the last decade, many researchers focused on improvement of environmental friendliness and on the principles of sustainable development, green logistics became a new field of transport research. The article presents an overview of the research in this area using as an example foreign and Russian projects. It is shown that the existing approaches, methods and instruments of «green» logistics are scattered, their use leads to making contradictory decisions that do not contribute to a systematic reduction of the harmful impact of transport on the environment. The authors proposed their approach to systematization of principles and methods of «green» logistics, which will allow creating more balanced programs to improve the environmental friendliness and efficiency of transport systems. The second part of the article (the first part was published in previous issue of World of Transport and Transportation) is dedicated to the features of object environment. Keywords: transport, sustainable development, green logistics, logistics, ecology, environment The work was carried out with the financial support and within the framework of the international educational project of the European Union TEMPUS EcoBRU «Environmental education for Belarus, Russia and the Ukraine» (543707-TEMPUS-1-2013-1-DE-TEMPUS-JPHES).
