LITERACY IN THE EPOCH OF ELECTRONIC DICTIONARIES

Abstract

The author poses some problems: what kind of literacy prevails in new communication environment; how the global network levels the riches of Russian language, its semantic nuances and inflections; whether unification of the means of culture exchanges in favor of electronic standardis inevitable. She proposes facts, assessments and reflections on those subjects.
