ECONOMIC ASPECTS OF RAILWAY TRAFFIC SAFETY
Abstract
The author proposes an approach to understanding and interpretation of train traffic safety, stresses interdependence between the safety, machinery and technologic conditions of the railways. He considers strategic activities and current operations, costs of modernization and their relationship with fare policy, operations and traffic safety.
