PNEUMATIC STONE BLOWING FOR TRACK STRAIGHTENING OF STONE BEDDED TКФСЛ
Abstract
The author depictures a technique of pneumatic blowing which is alternative to tamping straightening of a stone bedded track. He analyzes Russian experiences at the test rail circle, under low freight traffic, as well as practices of manual and machine pneumatic blowing at the railways of Australia and Great Britain. The article contains technical and economic comparative results of current operations.
