OPTIMIZATION OF DEADLINES ADJUSTED FOR FAILURES INTENSITY

Abstract

The authors argue that engineering of repair cycle of locomotive equipment should be made by two methods: either by ensuring the standard level of reliability, or by minimizing repair costs. Operation indices of reliability are the basic ones in both cases, and failures intensity is most suitable among them for prior assessment.
