The key audiences for the reviewed textbook are the students of high vocational schools. The handbook includes the chapters devoted to modern kinds of transportation, transport economics, infrastructure, business cooperation, outlooks of development within the framework of the united transport complex of the Russian Federation. The authors propose a diversity of statistics, test questions related to relevant disciplines of training. They consider the book to be particularly interesting for the students of transport vocational schools and colleges. Nevertheless the reviewer on the basis of comparative analysis argues that the other textbook meets the interests of the railway transport students better.
