MODEL OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND ABILITIES SET

Abstract

The authors review the process initiated to create tuning-centers in Russian universities as an implementation of a competence-based approach of the engineer training, particularly in the sphere of ecological engineering, and consider intermediate results of participation of MIIT in TEMPUS Tuning Russia three-year program. The article describes some problems and presents a brief comparative analysis of classification of engineering skills and abilities as well as of universe of discourse and of relevant subject fields.
