MEASUREMENT UNCERTAINTY CAUSED BY MODEL INADEQU

Abstract

The author proposes some approaches of the assessment of measurement uncertainty caused by inadequacy of mathematical models of studied objects, examines functional models, linear and instantaneous models of signal transformation operators (as random quantity or random function).
