FERROPROBES FOR RAPID DIAGNOSTICS OF SWITCH MACHINES
Abstract
According to experts, the shortcoming of traditionally used electric switch mechanisms is the lack of reliable diagnostics of operating and pre-failure status of the device in real time, which greatly de-
grades security settings and increases operating costs for maintenance of track automation. The article offers a simple way to diagnose the state of switches, based on measurementvalues of intensity of magnetic field of DC motor using ferroprobes.
