PROSPECTS OF INTERMODAL TRANSPORT SERVICE SYSTEM

Abstract

For the English abstract and full text of the article please see the attached PDF-File (English version follows Russian version).ABSTRACT The article is devoted to the problems of development of intermodal transport system of large cities and agglomerations. The results of surveys regarding evaluation and identification of the prospects of transport service are presented. The model of the developed system allows to visually show the state of the urban transport network. Approbation of the proposed model in Moscow agglomeration makes it possible to assess the existing and develop a promising program for development of passenger intermodal transport, which corresponds to the modern quality of transport services for the population of the metropolis.
