Abstract
The authors study the results of the analysis of infallibility of electric machines of electric VL10 locomotives on the railway section between Chelyabinsk and Rybnoe. They propose a new approach towards statistic assessment of equipment failures intensity and argue the possibility to prove the exact repair time while the equipment is under operation.
