STRUCTURAL CONSTANTS OF OPTICAL MULTIPLEXER
Abstract
The article contains an overview and estimation of structural characteristics and of circuits of optical multiplexers. The author has obtained analytic expressions for computation and comparative analysis of switching parameters and puts forward proposals to better use different types of optical commutators, switchboards or multiplexers in communication backbones.
