METHODS TO DEFINE PENT-UP DEMAND
Abstract
Taking into consideration the existing concepts of pent-up demand on freight traffic the author summarizes its causes and defines the data sources, which can be used to forecast realistic volumes of railway cargo carriage. The article contains approaches to solution of the pent-up demand problem via market instruments.
