Abstract

The author analyzes and makes a preliminary energy audit of existing procedure of in-shed repairs of magnetic system of traction engines of electric locomotives, taking the example of Nizhneudinsk locomotive shed of Eastern Siberian railway. The author reveals main shortcomings of existing processes and proposes some possible improvements there-of.
