The reviewed monograph is dedicated to the problem of prevention of environment pollution with heavy metals during operation of high speed road and railway transport. The authors have systematized the sources of wastage, containing heavy metals, described the migration routes of heavy metals in biosphere and food chains. The book refers also to technogeneous anomalies at the enterprises providing services to traffic process and during the operation of rolling stock. The authors suggest modern and promising technologies which could be useful to reduce air, water and soil pollution.
