Получены зависимости и номограммы, касающиеся возможности безопасной эксплуатации боковины тележки, вероятности оценить в условиях депо остаточный срок службы детали с учётом требуемого (управляемого) риска возникновения наиболее опасных отказов в период между глубокими диагностиками вагонов.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Remaining service life of parts is one of the main indicators of reliability. The authors obtained an analytical expression for evaluation of such a service life at the example of the side frame of the car's bogie. The technique, used in this regard, is based on operational information of system of centralized accounting of freight cars by their numbers.
