Обосновывают варианты и подходы, оценивают альтернативу «мост-тоннель», имея в виду проекты с высокой степенью инженерной проработки, экологической безопасности, экономической готовности и инвестиционной ответственности.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Continuing research that has been conducted by Russian leading transport universities for many years on prospects of development of railways and roads of eastern direction [<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="cit1">1</xref>] in Russia, the authors propose a solution to the problem of transport crossing overNevelski Strait from the mainland to the island of Sakhalin.
