А имя профессора Санкт-Петербургского технологического института Бориса Львовича Розинга, 150 лет со дня рождения которого отмечается в этом году, мало кто знает. Все современные телевизоры до сих пор работают по принципам, придуманным Розингом. В своих дневниках его ученик – Владимир Зворыкин – всегда указывал на то, что лишь воплотил в жизнь идею Розинга.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>This invention is used daily by billions of earthlings. But the name of Boris Lvovich Rosing, a professor at St. Petersburg Institute of Technology, whose 150th birthday is celebrated this year, is not widely known. All modern TVs are still working on the principles invented by Rosing.
